This includes contributing to the development of Life Cycle Assessments (LCA), Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), and other sustainability-related documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and alignment with our corporate environmental objectives.Your new responsibilitiesSupport technical activities within Robust Eco Design (RED), focusing on:Data & documentationData collection and quality checks for products, services, and software solutionsLife Cycle Assessments (LCA) creation and maintenanceEnvironmental Self Declarations II (EPD Type II acc. ISO14021) developmentMaintenance of Homogenous Product Families (HPF)Process supportSupport the implementation of Robust Eco Design (RED) in development processes of products, services and softwareSupport documentation and training activitiesAutomation and scalingAssist in automation initiatives for LCA/EPD processesContribute to data quality improvements and consistency checksAssist in scaling LCA/EPD processes across the portfolioYour talents and experienceMaster’s degree in environmental Engineering or Environmental scienceSound knowledge in the Buildings technology industry, with Siemens/ comparable portfolio preferablyA minimum of 2-3 years’ proven experience in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) development is requiredHave a knowledge of Environmental standards (ISO 14020, 14040 series) and Environmental regulations (EPD III, EPBD, CPR, EN50693, EU Taxonomy)Affinity for IT toolsChange management and digital transformation mindsetExperience with MS Office suite and data analysis toolsStrong analytical mindsetDetail-oriented and well-organizedFluent in English, basic to intermediate German (A2/B1) and eager to advanceEmployee benefits2-3 days per week of mobile working is standardMobility allowanceVaried further training opportunitiesAccess to employee share programsFurther information about employee benefits can be foundhereWhat it’s like working for usWe place significant emphasis on fostering an inclusive and flexible working culture that encourages everyone to be their authentic selves.
