What you bringCompleted vocational training in hospitality or gastronomy (EFZ or equivalent qualification)Certified sommelier education (e.g. WSET Level 3, CMS or equivalent); advanced certification is an assetProven experience as a Junior Sommelier or higher, ideally in a luxury hotel or fine dining environmentExcellent knowledge of wine, sparkling wine and food pairings, combined with a confident and elegant guest approachFluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are an advantageWell-groomed appearance, polished manners and a natural sense of discretion and styleStrong team spirit, resilience and flexibility – even during demanding service periodsWillingness to work evenings, weekends and public holidaysThe Alpina GstaadThe Alpina Gstaad is a Swiss luxury hotel for travelers with the highest expectations.
