The bilingual (French and English) campus is home to close to 1,900 students across the Primary, Middle and Secondary Schools. Our unique Universal Learning Programme, co-designed with UNESCO’s International Bureau of Education, seeks to anchor learning in deep conceptual understanding and the assessment of Ecolint’s global competences, to ensure that the outcome of learning makes some positive social impact.To complete our team, we are looking for a:French Language Coordinator (2 periods décharge + Level 2 Responsibility)Part-time – 2 Period(s)Responsibilities

• The French Language Coordinator will have a proven track record in leading a highly successful department and will be an outstanding teacher of French to the home language equivalent level.
• Working closely together with our highly qualified team of teachers, English Language coordinator the Assistant Principals and Principal, will develop a rigorous and exciting programme of language teaching in the school.
• Working collaboratively with all language teachers at the primary and the MS.
• Working collaboratively with all primary school teachers.
• Coordinate all aspects of the French language program.

Candidate requirements

• Teacher qualification such as a Bachelor in Education, Professeur des écoles or a PGCE equivalent
• Additional qualification to teacher French as a second language or FLE
• Demonstrated innovative approach to curriculum development
• Strong administrative, interpersonal and leadership skills
• Enthusiastic, dynamic and highly effective teacher
• Solid expertise in teaching French as a primary and second language
• A keen interest in the wellbeing of students
• A willingness and capacity to consider and work on whole school projects
• Spoken English (B2 level)
• This job will require that the candidate is teaching at La Grande Boissière.
