Join Roche, where every voice matters.The PositionWe’re looking for a Laboratory Operations Assistant to join the (IHB). The focus of this position is to assist the Lab Manager community in their daily tasks by ordering and restocking consumables and reagents, shipping goods and to ensure a well running and efficient lab environment for our researchers.You will be one of three members of the Lab Operations team, a support function within IHB. We offer services to our lab based colleagues around infrastructure, such as setting up additional or optimizing current lab space, taking care of logistics around consumables and reagents and overall safety and compliance, so that we can work in a safe and efficient manner.The perfect candidate: A team player, who enjoys working in a fast-paced and flexible environment and brings strong organizational skills and can work on their assigned tasks without a lot of supervision. The candidate has excellent communication skills and is fluent in English and German.Tasks & Responsibilities:Track stocks and resupply consumables and reagentsOrder consumables and reagentsAid in the shipping of material to internal and external partnersCoordinate maintenance of lab devices with external suppliersUpdate and manage equipment databaseSupport lab cleaning activitiesMust Haves:Completed vocational training (life-science related preferred)IT skills: Microsoft Office, GsuiteExcellent English and German skillsGood Communication skills, openness towards learning, proactive and good team spirit.The position is available immediately and is temporary for 2 years.How to Submit Your Application:To begin your journey with us, please submit your application.
