However, in this position, you will also have the opportunity to work together with professionals from other departments and sections as well.As of our team, you will contribute to building an optimization tool that integrates multi-domain models, including power converters, civil engineering, cooling & ventilation, magnets, and Radio Frequency (RF) systems. The ultimate goal is to explore and define the most efficient and sustainable powering configurations for thousands of magnets and RF systems within one of the world’s most ambitious scientific infrastructures.Your work will directly contribute to minimizing both capital investment (CAPEX) and operational costs (OPEX), while supporting CERN’s sustainability goals for future energy management.
