Supervise full Rooms Division including : Front Desk, Switchboard, Conciergerie, Housekeeping & Laundry To ensure customer satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance to standards and procedures manual and the Legendary Quality Experience (LQE). To ensure that Mandarin Oriental, Genève’s grooming and appearance standards are implemented and maintained to reflect an image of professionalism and care. Standardize methods and procedures in all areas and ensure full knowledge by all colleagues. Colleague scheduling in accordance with business level expected. Forecast and set objectives and follow through to achieve set goals. Ensure training for colleagues in the proper handling and usage of equipment. Review: Guest complaints and compliments. Merchandising ideas and upcoming promotions. Applicable policies and procedures. Communicate clearly with all levels of colleagues; manage differences and change. Maintain high visibility and strong contacts with customers in order to maintain a solid relationship with influential decision makers in our markets. Participate in colleague meetings and maintain a full awareness of changes, improvements, policies and procedures and improvement plans. To ensure that the Fire Life Health Safety and Security company standards and HACCP Standards are maintained and carried out. They must be monitored regularly to assist in scoring 100% on the MOHG health and safety audit. Perform any tasks as assigned by the Management Responsible for the preparation, presentation and execution, with rationales, of the hotel’s operating departments’ budgets. Yearly Rooms budgets, monthly, weekly and daily forecasts are timely and accurate. The operating expenses are well controlled and within budget limits. Profile: French & English fluent, another language a plus! Bachelor Degree in Hospitality, a minimum; MBA or Management Certification of the highest level, a plus ! Experience in back and front-of-the-house Rooms Division operations. Experience in luxury hotel operations Minimum of 2 years of experience in the same or similar position in a similar luxury hotel. International experience preferred. Experience in a French environment desired. Three to five years’ experience in the luxury hotel industry or relevant luxury service industry background Impeccable professional image combined with good ethics and values Outstanding communication skills Driven for results excellent “model” behavorial attitude Creative, focus and flexible Possess strong leadership attributes Detailed oriented You are willing to deliver a professional, attentive and impeccable service to our hotel guests and make sure there experience in Mandarin Oriental is unique and exceptional.This job opportunity will suit a person aspiring to be a Hotel Manager within 3 to 5 years.Eligibility:A work permit can only be delivered by the local and Swiss authorities to candidates who are citizens of one of the 20 European countries which have signed the Free People Movement Accord with Suisse.Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group is an equal opportunity employer.
