Gunvor is the largest independent LNG trader in the world.Gunvor has more than 1,500 employés and it maintains offices in Genève, Singapore, London, Istanbul, Shanghai, Amsterdam, Dubai, Houston, and Tallinn with new offices planned in strategically relevant markets.Main responsibilities:Acts as a reliable point of contact for routine internal and external inquiries on the deskMaintain close communications with customers and solve any issues that arise from the fulfillment of contracts concluded with themMaintain close communications with Traders and relevant teams to ensure smooth cooperation; proactively offering creative solutions to the trading teamOptimize trader strategies by utilizing knowledge of product movement and resolving and communicating any transport issues that arise with tradersServes as a point of contact for internal or external issues or disputes for the teamReporting required information from Operations processesMaintain an accurate and up-to-date account of storage positions, and product movement positions, review all accruals in the system, ensuring proper costs have been booked against each trade/strategy or storage facilityReconciliation of month-end inventoryManage cargo inventory and operations interacting with ports/terminals, agents, cargo inspectors, and international legal restrictions on vessels/trucks/rail used for cargo shipmentsDesign, document, and update written proceduresKey Requirements:Minimum 3 years of Base Metals and/or Commodities Operational experience in a trading environmentKnowledge of multiple commodities, components and grade specifications, bulk product storage, inspection procedures and product regulatory complianceComplete understanding of cargo transport operations including dry freightKnowledge of cargo shipment procedures, policies and industry standards, shipment regulations and maritime technical terminology, as well as relevant transport laws and the impact on cargo movement operationsExperienced in vessel cargo operations interacting with ports/terminals, agents, cargo inspectors, canal transits, bunkering, vetting, chartering, ship shore compatibility and international legal restrictions on vessels used for cargo shipmentsExperienced in trade recaps review, confirmations, contract review and executionProven analytical mindset regarding product movement reconciliation, along with the capacity to facilitate Loss Control investigationsPro-active and able to take initiative to complete tasksGood English written and oral skillsIf you think the open position you see is right for you, we encourage you to apply!Our people make all the difference in our success. Lire la suite
