Our mission is to pioneer women’s health through research and passion, empowering every woman with the knowledge she needs to take charge of her health.As part of the MAD team (Medical Algos and Data) you will help harness all the potential of our data and use it for a variety of different purposes, from developing new algorithms to improve our product, to doing research in the underserved areas of women’s health.Please note that we are hiring for this role in or near Geneva.What you will be doingDrive research initiatives to both advance the scientific understanding of menstrual and reproductive health and to continuously assess and validate the performance of Natural Cycles as a medical device, working closely with academic partners and healthcare professionals (HCPs)Develop and maintain algorithms that are central to the functionality of the Natural Cycles app — including those for cycle and fertility predictions, wearable sensor data integration, and personalized user experiencesContribute to scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals and present findings at conferences and workshopsPerform data-driven analysis of user behavior to inform product development and enhance user engagement and outcomesCollaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, medical, engineering, and PR) to translate research findings into user-facing features, product improvements, and public communication efforts that promote scientific literacy, support advocacy in women’s health, and build trust in the Natural Cycles brandStay up to date with relevant scientific literature and industry trends in digital health, women’s health, and machine learning applicationsEngage with key external stakeholders, including academic collaborators, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and key opinion leaders (KOLs), to shape research direction and promote scientific impactWhat skills and experience we think you havePhD in Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a similarly quantitative field with a strong data analysis component2+ years of professional experience in Data Science or related rolesStrong experience with machine learning techniques, including both supervised and unsupervised methodsProficiency in programming for data analysis, especially with Python and common libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, etc. Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plusSolid understanding of statistical methods and their application in real-world dataCreative and pragmatic problem solver with the ability to focus on technical detail without losing sight of the bigger pictureAble to work independently and take full ownership of projects from start to finishStrong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple prioritiesExcellent communication skills in English, both written and verbalCollaborative mindset and a strong team playerWhat we offerFlexible work arrangement – you will be part of a team based in and around Geneva that values effective collaboration and transparent communication, irrespective of work locationProfessional development – you will work alongside knowledgeable colleagues in the continuous growth and skill enhancement environmentModern technology – you will leverage innovative technologies and tools, within an environment that empowers you to contribute ideas and take ownership of your workImpactful projects – you will contribute to groundbreaking projects that redefine industry standards and create tangible valueCommitment to quality – you will join a dynamic and progressive organization that prioritizes profitable, long-term product developmentLocationWe are remote-friendly, but we also find great value in connecting with our teams in person.
