We want to expand our Business Technology landscape to manage more systems in a predictable way that accounts for scalability, resilience, and performance. This includes maintaining our internal applications and developing new applications that will help us support the growth of the business.nWhat You Will Do Daily:Collaborate with diverse teams to develop solutions that enhance development operations.Promote best practices using Atlassian tools with Engineering Managers’ support.Upgrade and maintain Atlassian tools.Manage Identity and Access Management, including user setup and permissions.Train end-users on the effective use of Atlassian tools.Implement security controls to protect environments.Monitor Atlassian applications, review logs, create documentation, address performance, and adopt new features.Optimize Atlassian workflows and assess functionality for user requests.Maintain the Atlassian suite, including plug-ins, and plan product growth.Create and implement standard templates and workflows, with customization as needed.Manage change processes and communication.Document configurations, processes, guides, and known issues.Identify process improvement opportunities.Collaborate with IT Operations to resolve issues promptly.The Experience You Will Need:4+ years of experience managing and configuring Jira Cloud in multiple project environments.Proven knowledge and experience in managing further Atlassian Cloud products (Confluence, Jira Service Management, Trello, Atlas, Compass, etc.)Familiarity with Agile Framework and Kanban development frameworks and project management methodologiesProficient in troubleshooting and diagnosing complex technical issues.Demonstrated experience in supporting technical users and conducting requirements analysis.Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.Effective communication and interpersonal skillsHighly autonomous and pragmaticOpen-minded and very positive can-do attitudePrefer to work in a team, share information, and ideas and understand the power of collective thinking to get the best solutionsComfortable in dealing with change and complexitySelf-confident enough to challenge the status quo as well as to receive and give feedback to improve the team and yourselfLeadership: Taking the initiative and demonstrating your ability to lead a subject from beginning to endValuing “done” over “perfect”Why You Will Love It Here:Our culture and mission set us apart. As a Senior Software Engineer in our Identity squad, you will build scalable, security-critical services that seamlessly integrate SonarQube with the leading DevOps platforms.You will operate in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, contributing to both cloud-native services and on-premises solutions. You will collaborate with highly skilled engineers who simplify the complexity of Identity and Access Management (IAM) while ensuring seamless integration for our customers. As a senior engineer, you will drive architectural decisions across squads, balancing short-term priorities with long-term scalability. You will own the professional growth and development of your team, enabling them to build well-crafted software for our products, and promoting a high-performance engineering culture.You will improve our products by leading the elaboration of the squad’s annual and quarterly objectives in close collaboration with the Product Management team while contributing to and overseeing technical architecture and engineering direction.You will help to bring consistency across SonarSource’s engineering organization by collaborating closely with your engineering manager peers to foster and share engineering best practices.As part of the role, you will participate in an on-call rotation to provide timely support and address any critical system issues that may arise outside of regular working hours.nWhat You Will Do Daily:Lead and manage a team of Engineers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to help individuals grow in autonomy and contribute to the team’s success.Ensure that the engineers are equipped for success to deliver a monthly release of SonarQube.Help engineers build a platform for the delivery of other functional squads.Hold yourself and your team accountable to a high engineering standard.Foster a safe culture of feedback, continuous improvement, and collaboration, encouraging team members to share their ideas and concerns openly.Align feedback with other teams to ensure things operate smoothly between teams.Partner with product managers, designers, and team leads to develop and communicate a clear vision for the squad that aligns with the company strategy and ensure that the team’s work and focus align with this vision.Be responsible that the squad defines clear objectives aligned with team, department, and company goals.Be accountable that the squad tracks sprints and progress.Be accountable that processes and ceremonies align with company expectations to deliver the best product successfully.Ensure the right level of collaboration happens with the squad stakeholders (Product Managers, developer squads, Marketing, Management, etc.).Partner with the Hiring team to recruit talented Engineers for the team.
