Tâches
• Collaborer sur un projet de l’UE avec des partenaires internationaux.
• Développer des voies de conversion pour la biomasse végétale.
• Optimiser un système adhésif bio basé sur la chimie NIPU.
Compétences
• Diplôme de master en technologie du bois, sciences des matériaux ou chimie.
• Expérience en chimie du bois et chimie des polymères.
• Excellentes compétences en communication et travail en équipe.
What you’ll be doing here
• Collaborate on an EU Horizon project together with international partners
• Develop conversion routes for plant biomass
• Chemically characterize intermediate products of the conversion pathways
• Optimize a novel bio-based adhesive system based on non-isocyanate polyurethane NIPU chemistry
• Publish your results in scientific peer-reviewed journals and write a dissertation based at the University of Göttingen
What you’ll bring with you
• Master’s degree in wood technology, materials sciences, chemistry, or a related field
• Experience in wood chemistry and polymer chemistry
• Strong interest in interdisciplinary research and innovation
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
• Fluency in English (written and spoken), knowledge of German or French an advantage
