Zu Ihren Aufgaben gehören

Planung und Umsetzung von Sanierungs- und Neubauprojekten inkl. Sicherstellung der Qualität und der Einhaltung von Kosten- und Terminvorgaben
Eigenständige Erstellung von Ausschreibungen, Offertvergleichen, Vergaben bis hin zu Verhandlungen mit Unternehmern
Leitung der örtlichen Bauausführung
Ansprechperson für sämtliche Bewohneranliegen während den Sanierungsphasen in bewohntem Zustand
Führung von Unternehmersitzungen sowie Erstellung von Kostenvoranschlägen und Baubeschrieben
Unterstützung der Projektleitung bei der Koordination der Fachplanung
Mitverantwortung für Bewilligungsverfahren, Ausschreibung, Baureporting, Baukostenkontrolle und Baudokumentation

Sie bringen mit

Technische Grundausbildung mit Weiterbildung als Bauleiter:in, Architekt:in oder im Bauingenieurwesen
Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Baumanagement (von Vorteil in Sanierungen im bewohnten Zustand) und Kenntnisse der Schweizer Normen und Baugesetze
Sie pflegen eine kunden- und zielorientierte Arbeitsweise und sind ein Teamplayer mit Kommunikationsgeschick
Sie sind ein versierter IT-Anwender und bringen gute Kenntnisse in den Programmen Messerli und MS-Project mit
Sie verfügen über stilsichere Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
Sie besitzen den Führerausweis Kategorie B

Position Summary

We’re looking for a strategic and driven Director of Procurement & Asset Management EMEA to lead our procurement, inventory, and tooling assets across multiple high-end aviation sites in Europe. Based in Basel, you’ll play a key role in supporting our MRO, Refurbishment (RMU), and Completions programs for the private aviation sector. This role is ideal for a visionary leader who thrives at the intersection of supply chain strategy, operational excellence, and aviation compliance.

Main Responsibilities

Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team across procurement, inventory, tooling, and Capex functions.
- Set clear objectives, manage team performance, and foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous development.
Procurement:
- Oversee regional procurement activities for aircraft parts, materials, and services.
- Drive cost-effective sourcing strategies while ensuring supplier quality, reliability, and alignment with project timelines.
- Build and maintain strong supplier partnerships; lead strategic sourcing initiatives to meet program and cost goals.
Inventory Management:
- Define and manage optimal inventory levels across all sites to balance material availability with cost control.
- Implement robust inventory policies to minimize excess, reduce obsolescence, and ensure operational readiness.
- Lead forecasting and stock optimization efforts in collaboration with planning and operations teams.
Tooling Management:
- Develop and execute tooling investment plans and lifecycle strategies, including inter-site sharing and long-term planning.
- Expand and manage a revenue-generating tooling rental program, serving both internal needs and external customer projects.

Capex Management:
- Own and manage the full Capex lifecycle for the EMEA region, from planning and budgeting to approval, execution, and reporting.
- Align capital projects with operational needs and long-term strategy.
- Partner with Finance, Engineering, and Operations to develop business cases and lead supplier selection for capital assets.
Supply Chain Quality Management:
- Oversee quality assurance processes across procurement, warehousing, and tooling functions.
- Lead internal and external audits, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure full compliance with relevant aviation regulations (e.g., EASA, FAA) and internal quality standards.
Performance & Compliance:
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Program Management to ensure supply chain alignment with project and operational objectives.
- Identify and implement process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to EASA/FAA regulations and uphold internal standards related to quality, safety, and ethics.

Your profile

Master’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline
At least 10 years of progressive experience in procurement and inventory management, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
Proven expertise in sourcing strategies, supplier negotiations, and material planning
Solid understanding of aviation supply chain operations, inventory control, and asset lifecycle management
Fluency in English; proficiency in other European languages (such as German or French) is considered an advantage
Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP) and strong analytical and decision-making abilities
Experience in commercializing internal services, such as tool rental programs, is an asset
Background in managing tooling strategies, asset planning, and capital expenditure projects
Familiarity with MRO, RMU, or Completions projects within the aviation or aerospace industry
Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks (EASA, FAA) and compliance procedures
Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a similar methodology is advantageous

Position Summary

Join our Cabinet Shop at Jet Aviation, to contribute to the creation of innovative interior designs for luxury aircraft, which are as functional as they are elegant. The cabinet maker team’s journey is to manufacture monuments, whether new parts or to refurbish monuments, as per the design and engineering requirements. Finishes integration and covering with the finest materials is then carried out before going to the finishing shop.

As a GAC Integration Shop Manager for our Cabinet Shop, you will play a crucial role in leading a team of skilled production technicians, guiding them in creating and assembling monuments with precision and excellence. Your leadership will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Your mission

Lead and Oversee Integration Shop Projects: Manage daily project activities, ensuring execution aligns with budget, schedule, and Jet Aviation quality standards while coordinating with engineering and shop supervisors.
Resource Planning & Team Coordination: Review manpower needs, conduct hiring sessions, and develop weekly plans that balance workload, budget, and scope changes.
Maintain Project Visibility and Reporting: Keep integration shop T4 and PCI monitoring files current, and deliver accurate status updates to the Project Production Manager.
Track Project Performance Metrics: Monitor earned value and capacity (CAPA), update E‑ETC and WBS from project inception, and take corrective action on deviations proactively.
Manage Task Progress and Closure in SAP: Initiate and follow up on project tasks, ensuring timely updates and finalization within SAP.
Facilitate Daily Operations: Lead morning stand-up meetings to align team actions and escalate critical issues to internal stakeholders.
Drive Process Improvement and Lean Practices: Develop and enhance workflows, implement 5S, and elevate team competence to continuously improve shop efficiency.
Ensure Safety, Security, and Compliance: Supervise shop safety, area cleanliness, and adherence to aviation regulations (FOCA, EASA, FAA), internal documentation (AMM, IPC, DWGs), and implement audit corrective actions.
Motivate and Develop the Team: Lead, instruct, and inspire team members to reach peak performance, supporting skills development and professional growth.
Collaborate Across Disciplines: Engage with internal customers—engineering, other shops, departments—to align on deliverables, escalate risks, and ensure smooth project integration.

Your profile

Completed apprenticeship with appropriate educational qualifications or equivalent experience
Minimum 3-year experience in aviation industry
Knowledge and understanding of aviation documentation and production processes (Part 21G 21J – 145 regulations)
Proactive, highly flexible, ability to work and stay calm under pressure., and self-motivated team player
Fluency in English, minimum C1 (C2 preferred) / with ability to read and understand maintenance tasks in English manuals

Du bewirtschaftest Installationsmaterial, erstellst digitale Arbeitsrapporte und Ausmasse mit modernsten IT-Tools.
Du unterstützt die Projektleitung bei Kostenkontrolle, Leistungsverrechnung und Dokumentationen für die Kundschaft.
Du hältst dein Installations-Fachwissen in nachhaltigen Bereichen wie E-Mobilität, Solar und Wärmepumpen aktuell und vertiefst es durch interne Weiterbildungen.

Das macht dich aus

Du hast eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung im Bereich Elektroinstallation (mit EFZ) und bringst mehrjährige Berufserfahrung mit.
Du hast idealerweise fachliche Weiterbildungen und Erfahrung in der Leitung von Teams.
Du besitzt einen gültigen Fahrausweis der Kategorie B.
