Don’t be shy, applyWe are seeking a highly experienced Payment Operations Specialist to join our team and ensure the seamless execution, monitoring, and improvement of domestic and international payment processes. The ideal candidate brings strong operational expertise, a deep understanding of compliance and risk, and a proactive mindset geared toward continuous improvement.Key Responsibilities1. Operational ExecutionEnsure the accurate and timely processing of domestic and international payments.Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, incomplete instructions, and suspense items.Monitor and prioritize operational emails related to daily activities.Adhere strictly to internal procedures and processing deadlines.2. Monitoring & ReportingProduce regular (weekly/monthly) reports on project progress and operational incidents.Actively contribute to team meetings and promote effective communication within the team.3. Project Management & Continuous ImprovementSupport the implementation of new tools and the evolution of existing processes.Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and risk mitigation.Collaborate closely with IT, Finance, Compliance, and Internal Control teams.4. Risk & Compliance ManagementIdentify and assess operational risks related to payment flows.Implement or strengthen first-level controls to ensure secure transaction processing.Contribute to ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements.5. Team Support & Knowledge SharingProvide training and guidance to team members as needed.Act as the operational point of contact in the manager’s absence or on designated topics.Ensure the proper execution of administrative follow-ups, including reconciliations, dispute handling, and case trackingQualificationsAt least 3years of experience in payment operations, ideally in a banking or financial institutional environment.Strong expertise in various payment schemes (e.g., SWIFT, SEPA, PACS).Solid knowledge of compliance, operational risk, and service quality standards.Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluent in English, basic level in French; German is a plus.SQ1
