We define, analyze and make alive the future ofclient facing solutions offered by Swissquote. We also maintain those applications to always ensure the best client experience in his journey.By collaborating closely with product strategy department we also are the bridge between company’s growth strategy and the corresponding solutions put in place, being then the core actors giving concrete life to the vision defined.By working hand in hand with the internal departments and the business that they represent we ensure toalways move towards clients and stakeholders needs.Team Mission:The Trading Conception team is dedicated to designing, developing, and enhancing robust trading platforms for both web and mobile, catering to a diverse set of users and investment profiles.This team focuses on delivering seamless trading solutions that span across multiple asset classes, including Forex, securities, and cryptocurrencies, ensuring a secure, efficient, and user-friendly experience.As a part of this dynamic team, you’ll work closely with three product owners, and an offshore business analyst.Together, you will transform strategic visions into practical, impactful features that drive the evolution of our trading platforms in collaboration with software engineering teams. Your work will empower clients and set new standards in trading experiences across the industry.Job Description:We are looking for our new Design Engineer. After a training period on our different retail trading platform (Securities & Forex) you will be responsible for conceptualizing, and defining design solutions that align with business objectives, user needs, and technical constraints.You will work closely with product strategy designers to translate visual and interaction concepts into production-ready components, with Product Owner to fully meet stakeholders needs and with developers to guarantee design integrity and technical feasibility across all edge cases.You will bridge the gap between product design and development by ensuring that designs areimplementable, performant, and consistent.Conceptualize and designproducts solutions for the benefit of the end user.Partner withDevelopersto ensure high-fidelity implementation of user interfaces.Collaborate withUX/Product Designersto validate design feasibility early in the process.Identify and resolvecorner casesandedge scenariosthat emerge during design-to-code handoff.Contribute to and maintain thedesign systemBuildinteractive prototypesthat demonstrate realistic behaviour and performance.Advocate fordesign consistency, accessibility, and maintainable front-end architecture.Provide feedback on both design and implementation to align experience and technical constraints.Actively contribute to the team life by helping on the support tasks & being seen as a designer ambassador to promote the different design activitiesQualificationsQualificationsYou have at least 5years of experience in designing digital product for complex web and mobile application, especially with in-house team. Financial/Trading products is a plus.Strong Proficiency withdesign tools(Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD).Strong Knowledge in building and maintainingdesign systems,component libraries, andresponsive designprinciples.Solid understanding ofUIprinciples,accessibility standards, andcross-browser behaviour.Excellent collaboration andcommunication skillsacross product owners, design and engineering teams.Comfort discussingperformance trade-offsortechnical constraintswith engineers.Understanding offront-end technologies(HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, React/Vue) is a plus.An interest in AI and ready to adapt your work with new tool (Figma make, ...) is a plus.Fluent in English, French is a plus.
