Responsible Funds Desk- Associate-Director
As the Associate-Director in the Trading department, you will lead the Funds Desk Trading team. Reporting directly to the Vice-Director, you will be in charge of the supervision of the operational activities and the people management in accordance with your senior management. You will be responsible for overseeing the global execution of clients' orders for online and non-online tradable products, managing orders for High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) clients, and ensuring the smooth operation of trading workflows.
This role involves day-to-day interactions with brokers, counterparties, and as well maintaining client relationships. You will actively participate in projects aimed at improving the trader's environment and contribute to the fulfillment and updating of internal and external processes.
Key responsibilities
Operations management:
Execution of Client Orders:

Oversee the timely and accurate execution of client orders for both online and non-online tradable products.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal trading policies.
HNWI Client Management:

Handle working orders for Institutional and High-Net-Worth Individuals (HNWI) clients, ensuring their unique needs and preferences are met.

Provide personalized support to enhance client satisfaction and loyalty.
Support and Relationship Management:

Provide support to brokers, counterparties, and maintain positive client relationships.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Project Participation:

Actively participate in projects aimed at enhancing the trader's environment, implementing new technologies, and improving overall efficiency.

Lead the implementation of the strategic projects set out by management.
Process Fulfillment and Updates:

Ensure the fulfillment and regular update of internal and external processes related to equities and derivatives trading.
Lombard Loan Rates:

Manage the fixing of Lombard loan rates on Funds universe.

Monitor market trends and collaborate with the team to adjust pledge values accordingly.
Team Management:

Leading and supporting a team of 3 people:

Fostering a positive work atmosphere where employees feel motivated, valued, and connected to the team and the organization.

Promoting collaboration, trust, and cohesion among team members.

Addressing any potential conflicts among team members to your senior management and/or HR Partner

Supporting employee growth through training, mentorship, coaching, and advancement opportunities.

Hiring:

Leading the recruitment process with your Talent Acquisition Partner

Ensuring new hires are properly introduced to the team, the organization, its culture, policies, and their specific roles.

Performance Management:
Setting performance expectations, providing feedback, conducting performance reviews, and addressing any performance issues.

Conducting under performance process
with the help of your Senior Management and HR Partner.
Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years track record in Funds Trading

Previous expertise in a leadership role is a strong advantage

Very good understanding of trailer fee business

Fluent in English and French, German would be a plus

Ability to work under stressful situations

Strong project management and problem-solving skills

Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment

Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented, team player

Excellent communication and presentation skills
