Product Owner - Portal and banking services
Department Perimetre - Software Engineering Platforms
The Software Engineering Platforms department is dedicated to the customer's journey in Swissquote. We define, analyze and make alive the future of client facing solutions offered by Swissquote. We also maintain those applications to always ensure the best client experience in his journey.
By collaborating closely with product strategy department we also are the bridge between company's growth strategy and the corresponding solutions put in place, being then the core actors giving concrete life to the vision defined.
By working hand in hand with the internal departments and the business that they represent we ensure to always move towards clients and stakeholders needs.
Team Mission
The
Banking section
is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining all of our banking platforms—including client communication, the client portal, CRM systems, and banking services such as Payments, Cards, Mortgages, and Crypto.
You will join the Banking Conception team, collaborating closely with another Product Owner, two Product Designers, and a PPO.
The team's perimetre is to translate company strategy into practical, scalable solutions while driving the continuous evolution of our products in partnership with software engineering teams.
With a strong focus on all aspects of the banking business, your work will contribute to building meaningful, long-term relationships between our clients and Swissquote.
Your responsibilities:

Define and maintain a product roadmap that gives clear direction to development teams and stakeholders

Drive the company's main projects within SWE department

Prioritize the product backlog to maximize ROI and ensure the most valuable work is addressed first

Define and document business requirements to capture needs, constraints, and guide development

Analyze and prioritize client feedback to drive continuous improvement and meet user expectations

Design and establish key reporting standards to track project progress and outcomes

Collaborate with UX designers to optimize the end-user parcours professionnel across web and mobile

Act as Subject Matter Expert, supporting business and development teams through knowledge sharing

Ensure incremental business validation so that developed features meet requirements

Maintain comprehensive documentation for business feature reference

Communicate and manage relationships with stakeholders to deliver the best product

Coordinate business and technical stakeholders across the full project lifecycle

Be the main point of contact for external providers
Qualifications
Background & Skills

3- 5 years of experience as Product Owner, Business Analyst, or a similar role - Project Manager is a plus

Solid experience working with agile/scrum software development teams in a disciplined agile environment

Deep understanding of banking products — trading and B2B knowledge is a plus

Proven track record of working closely with product designers to build end-client solutions

Thorough understanding of product quality, with experience coordinating business validation activities

Strong coordination and problem-solving skills, with a solution-oriented mindset

Experience sharing business knowledge and mentoring team members
Soft Skills & Languages

Excellent communicator and storyteller — able to engage both internal stakeholders and external providers

Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a structured and constructive manner

Fluent in English — French is an asset
Education

Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
