Join Franke Coffee Systems AG as a Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Specialist and play a key role in turning data from our connected coffee machine ecosystem into actionable business insights to enable better decision-making across product, service, and commercial functions. The role is primarily focused on analytics and business insights, with close collaboration with Data Engineering and selective involvement in advanced analytics topics. You will directly contribute to increasing our data maturity and scaling data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Your responsibilities

Analytics & Business Impact

Analyze data to generate actionable insights on areas such as product usage, fleet performance, and service quality

Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and reports (e.g., Power BI)

Identify trends, anomalies, and improvement opportunities

Data Foundation & Collaboration

Ensure data is reliable, consistent, and fit for analysis

Support data quality rules and improve data structures and usability

Collaborate with Data Engineering on data availability and pipeline requirements

Platform Evolution & Enablement

Contribute to scalable analytics capabilities within our organization (e.g., Self-Service Analytics)

Apply statistical methods to deepen insights and support advanced analytics use cases where relevant

Translate business needs into data solutions and communicate insights in a clear and business-relevant way
Your skillset

Technical & Analytical Skills

Degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science or similar

Strong background (4+ years) in data analysis and visualization (e.g., Power BI)

Solid skills in Databricks, Azure Cloud Services, Apache Spark, GIT, SQL Python, DAX and/or similar, plus understanding of data modeling and processing

Solid Knowledge of statistics and ML models

Ability to create impactful, user?focused reports and visualizations

Business & Methodological Skills

Strong business understanding and problem-solving mindset

Background translating business needs into data-driven insights

Structured and analytical way of working

Familiarity with Agile environments

Collaboration & Personal Competencies

Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills

Strong analytical and structured thinking with good planning and organizational skills

Curious, hands-on, pragmatic, and self-driven

Good German and English skills (written and spoken)
