Play a central role in the design of next-generation processors, integrated circuits, and sensorsOur client is an innovative high-tech company, composed of a team of world-class experts developing and delivering analog, mixed-signal, and high-voltage integrated circuits. The company is a leader in photonic detectors, flat-panel displays, and capacitive touch screens. It provides state-of-the-art integrated circuits with a strong focus on automotive, medical, aerospace, and industrial applications. The company develops its products using the latest available technologies and creates its own innovations by continuously investing in its internal R&D roadmap and through close cooperation with the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL). Once the design has been validated, it then initiates the mass production of these integrated circuits in Asia, where a dedicated team manages production planning and quality. To coordinate and plan these cutting-edge activities related to design in Switzerland, the company has mandated us to search for aSenior Project Manager (m/f)You will have the opportunity to play a key role in this SME made up of high-level specialists working in a team spirit. Reporting to the Line Manager, you will work closely with management and the R&D teams. Working in an innovative, exciting environment, you will have the opportunity to be at the heart of creating the circuits of the future.Main tasksOwn and lead the full lifecycle of integrated circuit design projects, from strategic customer negotiations – primarily in the automotive sector – through release to high-volume production in AsiaProvide strong technical and organizational leadership to cross-functional teams, coordinating and prioritizing activities across design, development, validation, pre-series, and mass production phasesPrepare and launch new projects by actively participating in customer negotiations on all technical and organizational aspectsDefine and implement all project-related processes in close collaboration with R&D, validation, Quality Assurance, and pre-series production managersCommunicate transversally across the organization to plan, drive, and monitor project progress, ensuring smooth execution and deliveryManage and organize the development of automated test programs for integrated circuits intended for high-volume production in AsiaLeverage extensive experience in automotive integrated circuit design and industrialization, translating it into clear, logical, and efficient processesEnsure the successful execution of all ongoing projects in terms of schedule, cost, quality, and full compliance with applicable standards, including ISO 26262Your profileYou hold a degree in microelectronics engineering or an equivalent field, and over at least10 years of professional experience,you have had the opportunity to design, validate, and successfully launch advanced semiconductor devices into productionYou are familiar withautomotive environments governed by ISO 26262and have managed microelectronics projects, ideally within the automotive industryWith alogical and analytical mindset,you naturally converge toward simple, efficient, and productive solutions and processesYou are equally comfortable managinginternal processesas well asexternal interfaceswith customers and suppliersYou are able tobalance and arbitratebetween cost, schedule, risk, and technical performanceYou have hands-on experience withproject reviews,including design reviews, gate reviews, and customer reviewsComfortable withtechnical and industrial risk management(DFMEA / PFMEA, mitigation plans), you know when – and how – to say no when necessaryYou areresults-orientedand strongly focused oncustomer satisfactionYou valueteamworkand thrive in collaborative and friendly working environmentsAnexcellent communicator,you know how to help people around you grow, and you are fluent in written and spoken English; proficiency in French and German is a strong advantageYou are willing totravel regularly within Europeto visit customersYou enjoy working at thecutting edge of technology,in stimulating, forward-looking environmentsHas this job description attracted your attention, and do you recognize yourself in this profile?
