📋 Détails de l'offre

Rejoignez Michael Page en tant que Compliance and Legal Officer a Genève.

A Geneva-based FINMA-regulated digital bank is looking for a Compliance & Legal Officer to support its Legal & Compliance function, with a strong focus on compliance, regulatory monitoring and business advisory. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys fast-moving environments, digital banking, online trading and emerging topics such as digital assets.
Compliance and Legal Officer
Our client is a Geneva-based FINMA-regulated bank and part of an international financial services group active in online trading and investment solutions.
The bank operates in a highly digital environment, giving clients access to a broad range of financial markets through advanced trading platforms. Its activities sit at the intersection of banking regulation, financial innovation and technology, creating a dynamic environment where legal and compliance topics are closely connected to the business.
The organisation is entrepreneurial, fast-paced and undergoing several new initiatives, including developments linked to digital assets. This role will appeal to candidates who want more than a traditional compliance position and who are motivated by operational exposure, regulatory complexity and direct interaction with internal stakeholders.
Description
As Compliance & Legal Officer, you will support the Head of Legal & Compliance across a broad range of compliance, regulatory and legal matters.
Your responsibilities will include:

Provide second-line compliance support and advice to internal business and operational teams

Support the implementation, monitoring and documentation of compliance controls

Contribute to the review and update of internal policies, procedures and compliance frameworks

Monitor Swiss and relevant international regulatory developments and assess their impact on the bank's activities

Support regulatory analysis linked to new business initiatives, including digital assets and crypto-related topics

Assist with day-to-day legal and compliance matters in a fast-moving digital banking environment

Review, analyse and coordinate legal or contractual documentation when required

Work closely with onboarding, operations, risk and business stakeholders

Support internal projects, process improvements and regulatory change initiatives

Contribute to a smooth handover and ensure continuity across compliance and legal activities

Handle a mix of strategic, operational and administrative tasks as part of a lean team
Profile
The successful candidate will bring a strong compliance background, ideally gained within a bank, trading platform, fintech, broker, digital bank or financial institution exposed to investment products.
The ideal profile will include:

Previous experience in compliance within financial services, ideally in a FINMA-regulated environment

Good understanding of banking compliance, regulatory requirements and financial products

Exposure to online trading, CFDs, digital assets, crypto, brokerage or investment platforms would be a strong advantage

Legal background or legal training would be valuable, particularly for regulatory analysis and contract-related topics

Ability to understand complex regulatory topics and translate them into practical business guidance

Strong interest in digital banking, financial innovation and emerging regulatory topics

Hands-on, flexible and pragmatic working style

Comfortable with multitasking and working in a fast-paced, changing environment

Team-oriented personality with strong communication skills

Willingness to handle both high-value advisory work and more operational or administrative tasks

Fluent English and French are required

Immediate or short-notice availability would be a strong plus
This role is best suited to someone who enjoys interaction, complexity and variety, rather than a narrow or purely theoretical legal/compliance position.
Job Offer
This is an opportunity to join a FINMA-regulated digital bank in Geneva in a broad Compliance & Legal role with strong business exposure.
The successful candidate will benefit from:

A permanent position in a stable and regulated financial institution

Exposure to digital banking, online trading, CFDs and digital assets

A broad role combining compliance, regulatory analysis and legal support

Close interaction with business, operations and risk teams

A fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment with upcoming strategic initiatives

The opportunity to contribute directly to the evolution of the compliance framework

A competitive compensation package, including a discretionary bonus

A visible role within a lean team where individual contribution matters

A well-structured handover from the current role holder
