To complement its Marketing department based in Crissier, McDonald's Switzerland is looking to fill the role of :Media & CRM Consultant (80-100%)In this role, you will own the annual media plan for McDonald's Switzerland and drive day-to-day media excellence. You will lead media planning, manage the media agency to deliver against KPIs, and optimize investment to increase ROI year on year. You will own the ROMS programme, champion media innovation, and support the development of our performance marketing strategy. Working closely with marketing teams, you will act as a trusted advisor on all media-related initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesMedia Planning & LeadershipOwn and manage the day-to-day media plan across channels, including investment allocation, campaign performance, and SOV managementLead media channel strategy (OOH, AV, Radio) and present clear recommendations to senior stakeholdersAct as the main point of contact for the media agency (OMD), ensuring delivery against KPIs and continuous optimizationSupport the Marketing Director in the development of the annual media plan and commercial trading agreementsOversee monthly performance reporting and media reconciliationsStakeholder Management & GovernanceAct as a trusted media advisor to marketing teams and senior leadershipRepresent media plans at Marketing Committee meetings and provide clear, insight-driven recommendationsApply audit findings and performance insights to drive ongoing improvementROMS (Return on Marketing Spend)Lead the Switzerland ROMS programme in partnership with AnnalectTranslate ROMS insights into actionable optimizations and work with OMD to activate themCoordinate deep-dive analyses in collaboration with strategy and insights teamsPerformance Marketing & InnovationChampion performance marketing capabilities across digital, CRM, app acquisition, retention, and McDeliverySupport the use of first-party customer data in media planning and decision-makingDevelop and lead a test-and-learn approach to continuously improve media effectivenessWhat You Need to be Successful:Media expertise: At least 4 years of experience in media, either within a media agency or in-house as a brand media expert (experience in both is a plus)Media planning & performance: Strong understanding of media planning principles across channels, including digital KPIs, portfolio management, and ownership of a media calendarAnalytical mindset: Experience working with ROMS / econometric models and translating insights into actionable optimizationsAgency & project management: Proven ability to manage agency relationships and lead projects from briefing through deliveryStrategic communicator: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly influence stakeholdersMarket knowledge: Solid understanding of the Swiss media landscape and how to apply it to effective media strategiesSelf-starter & connector: Comfortable working autonomously, building strong relationships, and collaborating cross-functionallyLanguages: Fluent in English; French and/or German are strong assetsWith us, you get the following benefits:Flexible working: the ability to work remotely to achieve the best possible balance between work and private life.
