To complement its Marketing department based in Crissier, McDonald's Switzerland is looking to fill the role of:Director Marketing (100%)In this role, you will partner closely with the CMO to shape the strategic direction of the Menu, lead the development of the annual marketing calendar, and own the media portfolio. You will provide strategic thought leadership to drive commercial growth and influence stakeholders across Marketing and Menu. As a senior leader, you will demonstrate enterprise leadership, building strong credibility with Marketing, the Swiss Executive Team, and Franchisees, while connecting effectively with global Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic planningDetermine the strategic Menu priorities for the CH business, that in turn ladder towards the market business goals and ambition. Overall ownership of Menu Development function supported by Menu Marketing Manager. Ensure strategy is well articulated and supported by key stakeholders - including our franchisees - as well as supporting enabler departments such as Ops and Supply ChainDeliver business value through demonstrable sales comp and long-term customer value by overseeing, developing and localizing a competitive strategy in the areas of Menu and FamilyOwnership of development and sell in of Annual Marketing Calendar working in partnership with Marketing Leadership Team (MLT)Owner of Annual Media plan and commercial agreementsCollaboration and CommunicationCollaborate with SET (Senior Executive Team) and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and buy-in for strategic initiativesCommunicate strategic vision and goals effectively to all relevant partiesBecome a trusted partner of Franchisees, particularly Marketing Committee membersExecution and MonitoringOversee the creation of the Annual Marketing and Media calendars, Execution of key Calendar Initiatives and Leader of Menu Development including end to end processMonitor progress towards strategic goals and identify areas for improvement. Ensure progress is regularly reported and understood by business stakeholders, especially the franchisee communityIdentify and address potential risks and challenges to strategy implementationStrong creative eye when creating new brand platforms to support Menu and Brand campaignsLeadership and Team ManagementLead and mentor Menu and Media Team to achieve strategic objectivesBuild an outstanding team at McDonald's. Demonstration of having worked in large, complex organizations managing large budgets. Knowledge across all aspects of Marketing - Menu, Merchandising, TV, OOH, Radio, Digital. Min 7 years in Marketing. Significant experience delivering proven business results for a significantly sized business unit or geography requiredProject management skills: Ability to manage projects from start to finishAbility to work at a fast pace while managing competing prioritiesLanguages: Excellent English language skills, as well as fluent in German.
