Job Description
Our client, a well-established and licensed trust company based in Geneva, is currently seeking its next Trust Officer to join a close-knit team, offering strong career development opportunities and a low staff turnover.
Trust Officer
Key Responsibilities
•
Administration of a portfolio of international trusts and related structures.
•
Day-to-day management of trust structures, including transactions, distributions, and legal documentation.
•
Drafting and updating trust-related documentation.
•
Liaising and coordinating with family offices, lawyers, tax advisers, banks, and other external advisers.
•
Ensuring compliance with Swiss and international regulations, including AML/KYC, FATCA, and CRS requirements.
•
Participating in business development projects and providing support to senior management.
Profile Required
•
Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience within trust and fiduciary services.
•
Previous experience gained within a Swiss or international trust company would be highly advantageous.
•
STEP qualification or studies towards obtaining the qualification would be considered a strong asset.
•
Strong knowledge of trust structures and related regulatory requirements.
•
Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong client-service mindset.
•
Fluent in French and English; any additional language would be considered an advantage.
•
Well-organised, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently.
