Global Marketing Analyst (f/m/d), 100%
To drive our continuous organic growth, we are constantly looking for highly qualified professionals. To strengthen our team in the Commercial department, we are looking for a dedicated Global Marketing Analyst (f/m/d), 100%.
The analyst's mission would be to translate market data into strategic insights that guide product positioning, customer engagement, and global commercial strategy across peptides and oligonucleotides - Bachem's core business.
Your tasks:

Build and monitor models to conduct competitive intelligence on CDMO/CMO peers: capabilities, capacity expansions, pricing signals, partnerships, and M&A activity

Analyze customer segments (biotech, pharma, emerging biopharma) to identify needs, buying behaviors, and project lifecycle patterns

Support strategic planning with data‑backed insights, scenario modelling, and opportunity assessments

Evaluate lead quality, opportunity progression, and conversion rates across Bachem's pipeline and opportunity list.

Partner with Sales and Business Development to analyze customer project pipelines, timelines, and capacity implications

Identify bottlenecks, risks, and opportunities to improve commercial performance and customer experience

Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, events (e.g., DCAT, CPHI, TIDES), webinars, and digital initiatives

Provide recommendations to optimize targeting, messaging, and channel mix for CDMO audiences

Support content strategy with data‑driven insights on customer interests, market demand, and competitor positioning

Maintain and enhance dashboards for commercial, marketing, and market intelligence reporting

Ensure data accuracy and alignment across CRM, analytics tools, and marketing automation platforms

Support implementation of new analytics tools, data models, or reporting processes

Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Business Development, IR, Product Management, and Operations to align insights with business priorities

Present findings clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders, enabling informed decision‑making - prepare models and PPTs

Potentially support business cases for investments, capacity expansions, or new service offering with data capture and analysis
Your profile:

Minimum Bachelor Degree

Solid relevant work parcours professionnel

Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence skills, especially in international and matrixed organizations.

Industry-specific expertise and analytical mindset, ideally with background in life sciences or regulated sectors performance analytics, and multilingual or global team environments.

Strong and demonstrable Excel and PowerPoint skills are a must

CRM/ salesforce knowledge essential

Ability to manage content workflows, permissions, and governance across global teams

Competence with web analytics platforms (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics)

Ability to interpret dashboards, KPIs, and content performance metrics

Strong command of collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint)

Background with project management platforms (i.e. Asana)

Fluent in English is a must with German and other languages highly desired.
