At Stonehage Fleming you will be part of a collaborative, supportive team working across borders.ABOUT INVESTMENT MANAGEMENT SWITZERLAND:The Swiss Investment Management Team is a part of the global Stonehage Fleming Group investment offering, providing discretionary and advisory investment management services to a wider variety of HNW and UHNW clients and families, either personally, or within fiduciary structures. The group’s multi-asset expertise enables the implementation of suitable investment strategies across the spectrum of risk profiles.The role will report to the Head of Client Management.OVERALL PURPOSE:The position exists to support the client relationship team in the day to day management of all aspects of client relationships. The primary focus of this role is to support the client relationship managers in providing excellent service for Stonehage Fleming clients. The position forms part of the Client Relationship Management Team, however due to the close cooperation with the Investment Management Team this role will serve as a crucial link between these two functions. This provides the individual an opportunity to learn about the many aspects of a Global Multi-Family Office business, and will give the person direct exposure both to clients and specialized investment solutionsPRINCIPAL ELEMENTS & ACCOUNTABILITIES:• Provide administrative support to the Client Relationship Team on allocated clients, including but not limited to the preparation of banking, investment, internal and external reports, trade instruction preparation, cash transfer instructions,• Providing client servicing support to one or more Client Relationship Manager(s) and their clients; representing the Client Relationship Manager as appropriate.• Capturing new client information and completing onboarding processes• Receiving queries from clients and other internal contacts and resolving / escalating as required• Liaising with other parts of the Stonehage Fleming group and with third parties to coordinate the implementation of client requirements. This would include lawyers, accountants, banks, insurance brokers, etc.• Gathering information from clients, internal contacts and other providers• Preparation of client correspondence• Support ongoing client monitoring including client activity and AML reviews• Ensure compliance with group principles, all regulatory requirements and standards• Inputting, analysing and maintaining client and prospect data• Such other duties as may from time to time reasonably require, including ad hoc projectsQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:• Educated to degree level broadly within general finance or business• Good general knowledge of wealth management• Experience of having worked in an administration capacity, for a financial services business desirableSKILLS:• Pro-activity and ability to work independently with little guidance• Fluent in English, German and /or French and / or Spanish is an asset• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)• Good understanding of financial markets• Strong communication skills, excellent interpersonal capability and able to articulate investment arguments in a logical and consistent manner• Excellent presentations skills
