Data Scientist Intern (f/m/d)Workload: 80–100% Join Axpo Biogas International to turn data into real impact. Help build our Asset Management System, optimize biogas plant performance, and learn alongside a collaborative team shaping a sustainable energy future.What you will do:

Gather and translate stakeholder needs into functional requirements for our Asset Management System
Design data acquisition from plant operations, finance systems, and manual inputs
Implement automated KPI calculations and alerting logic for plant operations
Build statistical and machine learning models for performance analysis
Create clear dashboards and reports for Plant Managers to Top Management
Support roll-out, user onboarding, and maintain documentation of tools and models

What you bring & who you are:

Must-have: BSc/MSc in Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or Computer Science; first relevant internship/project experience
Must-have: Proficiency in Python and SQL; solid data analysis skills
Must-have: Familiarity with data science methods and model development; attention to detail; team-oriented and result-driven mindset
Nice-to-have: Experience with BI tools, ideally Power BI
Nice-to-have: Experience with asset/plant data, real-time data, or alerting logic
