As an Academic Assistant, the key responsibilities are the following:

• Assisting the Academic Managers with activities related to the development of content and structure of all academic programmes in adherence to the current standards and trends in higher education
• Assisting the Academic department with the coordination of the student academic development cycle
• Assisting with the academic database management and with compiling statistics and academic policy documents
• Assisting with the management of the student information portal and ERP
• Be interested in the development of Training programmes
• Engaging relevant stakeholders to create awareness

A great work environment in the education field|A varied position with challenging tasksYou are the successful applicant if you match the following qualifications:

• A Master or Doctorate degree in international relations, political science, international law, international trade and economy, or any related field
• Interest in Academic Programme development, research would be preffered
• Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of French or any other language is an asset
• Knowledge and experience in compiling statistics/data for reports and policy documents
• Ability to communicate with judgement and diplomacy
• Passion to grow and evolve
• Ability to be organized, punctual and ability to initiate and follow-up would be preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
• Experience with L123Suisse syste123Suisse – Moodle, Odoo etc would be an added advantage
• Strong computer skills (including Microsoft Office Suite and database experience)
• Ability to work independently and as a team member; cope with workload pressure and deadlines; and work in a results-based environment
• Attributes such as being responsible, committed and loyal to the cause of the institution are mandatory
• An individual with a can-do attitude, positivity, and a bright smile will be given preference
