Job opening — Product Manager Automation | Rieter | CH.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Take an active role in technical sales, supporting the global sales organization in value?based selling, solution definition, and technical?commercial clarification in complex customer-specific automation and system projects
• Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for automation systems towards the fully automated spinning mill
• Identify market trends and customer requirements and translate them into competitive automation solutions
• Conduct and maintain market and competitor analyses to support portfolio and investment decisions
• Take ownership of core responsibilities within your area of expertise
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals
• Maintain quality standards and adhere to internal processes
The ideal candidate will bring:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in B2B technical sales, product management, or solution engineering for automation systems (e.g. AGVs, cobots, palletizing solutions)
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
• Experience in the textile industry is an advantage
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to align cross-functional teams
• Relevant degree and professional experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
