Do you have experience with processing expense claims or compensation and benefits payments? We are looking for a dynamic person with good attention to detail to join our Personnel Accounting Section in the Finance and Administrative Processes Department.FunctionsThe Expense Claims Assistant will ensure the efficient and accurate control and payment of all financial requests relating to members of personnel. This amounts to approximately 25,000 claims a year. You will work in tandem with one other colleague, and will gradually take on the following responsibilities:Control a variety of reimbursement claims; such as travel, subsistence and cost of living allowances, entertainment or sundries, family and social benefits;Prepare the related payment files;Coding and recording of accounting entries;Regular monitoring of specific accounts;Maintaining personnel’s bank details;Answering ad hoc queries from Members of Personnel;Performing diverse administrative duties, such as processing transactions related to conferences organised by CERN, updating exchange rates, issuing ad hoc financial attestations;Maintaining regular contact and good relations with both internal services and external contacts.In the spirit of flexibility within the team, ensure back up of colleagues.
