The interlock systems play a critical role in the safety and reliability of the equipment and are part of the machine protection architecture, safeguarding accelerator components from damage due to beam impact or equipment malfunction.You will contribute to the consolidation and operation of highly reliable interlock systems, such as the Warm Magnet Interlock System (WIC), Beam Interlock System (BIS), Powering Interlock Controller (PIC), and others, designed to meet demanding performance and reaction time requirements across CERN’s accelerator installations.In this role, you will be actively involved in the assembly, installation, and commissioning of the next-generation interlock systems, ensuring their ongoing performance and dependability.
